Develop your ability to talk about your own work with the help of Blake, an American instructor. This upper intermediate to advanced level online course will enable you to gain confidence and effectively communicate about work-related matters in English. We will focus on key aspects that make you effective in the workplace, including your ability to confidently convey key instructions and feedback to colleagues and clients. We will use a variety of questioning and communication strategies that will generate interest in your work-related tasks and responsibilities. You will have the opportunity to practice these acquired strategies with others within the sessions.
This is a teacher-led online course where teaching takes place on the Zoom platform six times in autumn on Thursdays 5:30-7 pm (31.10.–12.12.2024) and six times in spring also on Thursdays 5:30-7 pm (9.1.-27.2.2025). The course also includes weekly non-real-time online teaching and independent study.
