This course will help you as a professional working in a fast-changing environment.
You will carry out tasks and exercises that are based on real-life working situations. Through these exercises you will improve your fluency and confidence in spoken and written English, also using groupwork and pair work. You will develop your knowledge of professional vocabulary, relevant grammatical structures, and gain confidence to communicate in professional contexts.
Topics include videoconferencing, the language and skills for finding employment, job interviews, event planning and conferences. Grammar includes modal verbs, the present perfect simple and present perfect continuous tenses, as well as the future tense (will, going to, present simple and continuous).
This is a hybrid teaching course, which allows you to participate remotely or to attend physically in the classroom according to your choice. The online teaching takes place on Zoom.
